**The place for News about Lois and Clark!**

Welcome to the Daily Planet---well, my version of it. This is the best place to find news and info about the cast and crew of Lois and Clark!

Thank you to all who voted in the "What the heck do I do with this section?!" poll. 55% of you wanted to see information that relates to LnC directly. Let me say that the best way to get such information is to visit a message board, such as Zoomway's :

But I will try to update this with new and interesting information.

This is an article about the author of the new "The Wild Thornberrys Movie". I thought I'd share it because it's fairly uncommon to find negative 'behind-the-scenes' references these days regarding the show. Was there something going on at the time that anyone would like to share? SHE'S ANIMATED ABOUT WRITING Relevancy: 100; ( Maine Sunday Telegram ) RAY ROUTHIER; 12-22-2002

In the late 1980s (Kate) Boutilier began free-lancing, writing for other shows. She wrote an episode of the critically acclaimed CBS show " Northern Exposure," in which Shelly, the waitress, gets upset with her mother for having another baby. She also wrote for the campy lifeguard show "Baywatch" and for a strange supernatural show called "She-Wolf of London" which is still shown on the SciFi cable channel. "Those experiences broadened me, and helped me learn to write action, " said Boutilier. Boutilier then worked for the Superman romance "Lois and Clark," which she thought would be perfect for her. But the politics of the show proved to make it an unpleasant experience. So Boutilier left and was writing press kits for studios for a couple of years before hooking up with "Rugrats" about six years ago. She eventually became a producer of "Rugrats," supervising other writers and every facet of the popular children's show's production.

Here is her Lois and Clark connection: "Operation Blackout" Airdate 10/30/94; Written by Kate Boutilier; Directed by Michael Watkins Terrorists infiltrate the military and hijack a hi-tech weaponry satellite. But when Lois and Clark discover the operation, the two reporters become targets themselves. Guest Stars: J.T. Walsh, Melora Hardin, Bill Erwin, and Charles Rocket as "Ryan Wiley".
